Martin/Martin, Inc. is thrilled to offer an Externship Experience for college students this summer! This one-week program will immerse students in the daily life of civil and structural engineers. Participants will learn about Martin/Martin’s current projects, collaborate on engineering tasks with peers, learn industry software, build valuable connections, and have ample opportunities to ask questions.
The unpaid externship will be May 18th - 21st from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Lunch will be provided all week. All Applications are due by March 27th, 2026. We will be in contact with you regarding next steps by April 14th, 2026.

Completes simple engineering calculations and models
3D modeling
Prepares presentations
Site Assessments
Working Conditions/Skills/Abilities: This position is technical in nature, working mostly inside of the office completing a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:
Completing repetitive movement on tasks such as using a mouse or keyboard
Remain stationary for long periods of time
Read, communicate, and document in English
Identify color
Determine and exchange accurate information
Occasionally move about outside of the office
Occasionally move or hold objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently attending college in Colorado
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degrees in civil or architectural engineering
