Your Impact
Lead and support electrical engineers on the design of power generation projects
Lead and support electrical engineers on the design of renewable energy projects
Lead and support electrical engineers on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades
Lead and support electrical engineers on federal electrical system upgrades
Mentor and teach junior engineers
Project proposal and budget development
Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations and equipment specifications
3+ years of relay coordination and schematic design
Engineer in Training Certification
CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Engineering
Essential Professional Licensure/Certification
Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus
3+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
3+ years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus

Compensation Expected Salary (all locations): $73,100 - $125,400
