Responsibilities
Managing and overseeing all phases of construction projects, from design to close-out
Estimating labor, materials and equipment costs, and preparing bids and contracts
Overseeing contractors, subcontractors and vendors
Negotiating contract documents, billing contracts and dispute resolution
Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications and standards
Participating in client meetings and site visits
Essential Job Functions
Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel in all phases of the project
Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
Ensure that each project meets deadlines, budget, and specifications
Project Manager Skills
Proven experience as a Project Manager
Proficient in MS Office and relevant software (e.g. Procore, MS Project, etc.)
Excellent knowledge of construction materials, procedures, and standards
Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills
Ability to motivate personnel and manage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, etc.
