Skagit Regional Health is seeking a Nephrologist to join our well established practice in Mount Vernon, Washington. Highlights:

Join a collaborative team of two (2) experienced physicians with plans to add an APP. Weekly call of 1:3 equally shared among the providers. This is a full time position that consists of covering inpatient rounding at one hospital facility, seeing patients in clinic and rounding at local dialysis centers with Medical Directorship opportunities available. Our own outpatient dialysis unit is a 25-bed unit attached to the outpatient clinic with both in-center HD and home PD/HHD programs. Our inpatient service has access to a supportive critical care team and interventional radiology services available for acute dialysis, placement of dialysis access and kidney biopsy. Other services include patient evaluation of AKI, critical care consultation, a peritoneal dialysis program and outpatient management of CKD. Our Nephrology practice has the support of a thriving referral network from our in-house primary care providers, ensuring a substantial patient volume from day one. Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and Residents from our own SRH Residency Program. Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an ACGME accredited fellowship program. Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Nephrology. 2+ years of practice experience preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply! Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start. The ideal candidate will place a priority on improving lives through compassionate and innovative healthcare and focus on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.

Compensation and Benefits :

Guaranteed first year salary: $391,940 with productivity incentives. Employment bonus, relocation reimbursement & CME allowance. Malpractice insurance, including tail insurance, is fully covered!
