Join Eyas Landing as the Department Lead of Physical Therapy to support a pediatric program at Merlin Day Academy.
We are seeking a Department Lead of Physical Therapy to join our team of top pediatric specialists. Our Physical Therapists collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement an intensive therapeutic program interwoven with education to provide a comprehensive approach to pediatric care. Physical Therapists work directly with students and families to support development and caregiver success. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, clinic-based
Responsibilities
Provide team lead duties and oversee the day-to-day management of the Physical Therapist within the department.
Lead weekly Physical Therapy department supervision and mentorship meetings.
Serve as a liaison between Physical Therapists in the clinic department and scheduling team regarding individual therapist scheduling needs, department productivity, and as needed.
Collaborate with clinic director and human resources to complete annual performance reviews for therapists within the department.
Collaborate with clinic director and human resources to determine department hiring needs and recruit, interview, and hire applicants as needed.
Collaborate with scheduling team to manage caseload requirements and maintain a small caseload of therapy sessions.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed.
Participate in monthly staff meetings, department meetings, and as needed team meetings.
Qualifications
Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Licensed Physical Therapist
Strong experience working with children or clients with special needs
Leadership or management experience preferred but not required (mentorship available)
