Community Mental Health Worker-1 Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation's capital. The Thrive Center for Children, Families, and Communities is dedicated to supporting the healthy development of children, individuals with disabilities, families, and communities through service, partnership, and scholarship. Thrive Center has recently been awarded a grant to be part of a broader team working on the 2-Gen Cash Transfer Demonstration project - an innovative, community-focused project aimed at supporting families in Washington, DC. Responsibilities

Direct participant support Enhanced screening and resource navigation Administration, record-keeping, and data collection Training, education, supervision Work Interactions

The CMHW will serve as part of a team within Georgetown University and with other external partners. They will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that families can navigate and access community resources, which will require them to interact with District agencies and non-profit organizations. They will serve as representatives of Georgetown University and Thrive Center. The CMHW will report administratively to Morcia Mason, Director of Operations for Thrive Center, and programmatically to the PI and co-Executive Director of ECIN, J. Corey Williams, MD, MA, and Stephanie Mitchell, PhD. Requirements and Qualifications

CMHWs will have completed a specialized certificate program in Family Leadership at GU Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Suite, data entry) Written and oral fluency in English and Spanish is preferred Experience working in a multicultural setting is preferred Experience working in a community-based setting for at least 1 to 2 years is preferred Understand the community served and community connectedness Good communication skills, such as listening well and using language appropriately Ability and willingness to provide emotional support, encouragement, and motivation to clients Work Mode Designation

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is:

$20.16 - $31.30 . Compensation is determined by factors including the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's needs. Current Georgetown Employees
