Overview
Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time APRN/Physician Assistant to join the Primary Care team in Port Charlotte, FL. We are looking for a positive, energetic, well-organized teammate who can multi-task and support an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities
Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work and x-rays). Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, infections, injuries). Prescribe medications and other treatments; manage patient overall well-being (comprehensive care). Consult with supervising physician on complicated diagnoses and make treatment decisions collaboratively. May take office overflow of patients or build your own practice as appropriate; may have a medical assistant for support based on patient load. Qualifications
Florida APRN or PA license and board certification. Required Skills and Abilities
Strong computer skills; EMR experience (Athena knowledge preferred but not required). Physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, climb and balance; occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; vision requirements. Compensation and Benefits
