Overview
RN OR Circulator Trauma Team (7 on 7 off) at Saint Alphonsus Health System, a Level II Trauma Center in Boise. Location: Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. Responsibilities
Provide hands-on patient care as an RN in the operating room and serve as a circulating nurse for trauma cases. Collaborate with team members, maintain accurate documentation, and utilize resources effectively. Act as a patient advocate, promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. Educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs. Circulate all basic and complex cases proficiently, on primary and secondary specialty teams, and serve as a preceptor for these specialties. Qualifications
Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse; multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required at hire. ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS. Other certifications may be required as identified in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk. Employment Details
Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Rotating shift Schedule: 7 on 7 off; rotating days and nights (e.g., 7pm–7am, 7am–7am), with coverage Monday through Friday and weekend shifts as noted in the original posting. About Boise
