Inpatient General Ortho, Post-Op Care & Surgical Assisting PA/NP - Baltimore, MD MedStar Health invites you to join our team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in our growing Orthopedics program. The role focuses on first‑assist orthopedic surgery and post‑operative inpatient care.

Job Summary

First‑assist orthopedic surgery – hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, spine, foot, and ankle

Post‑operative inpatient care: ordering and interpreting labs, admissions, physicals, rounding, and discharge planning

Schedule & Compensation This is a full‑time, 4‑shift, 10‑hour schedule (no weekends, holidays, or nights). Base salary $115,000–$143,619.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

Current RN license (for NP) or PA license

Completed RN first assist course (for NP)

Strong communication and computer skills
