Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Day Per Diem
Providence Health & Services, Portland, OR – Work Location: Providence Portland Medical Center – Pay Range: $39.73 - $61.68 per day.
Responsibilities The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) independently provides comprehensive biopsychosocial, spiritual assessment, diagnosis, treatment/interventions, and advocacy for patients and their support systems. The LCSW incorporates theories related to life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change, and collaborates with patients, families, and the Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT) to develop and implement evidence‑informed, person‑centered care plans across the care continuum. Duties are performed with respect for patient self‑determination, to reduce health disparities, and in adherence to the NASW Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, and the organization’s mission.
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program, or a school in candidacy status by CSWE.
Oregon Clinical Social Worker License or Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire.
State social work license in the state(s) of hire and wherever care is delivered upon hire.
Two years of relevant social work experience. May include CSWA experience.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required; proof will be requested upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of care‑management experience in an acute care setting.
Benefits & Pay Base pay is $39.73 to $61.68 per day, with potential for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities.
