Pay Rate:
$29.00 - $36.00 per hour Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking a part-time Wound Care Nurse who is dedicated to providing exceptional wound management and resident-centered care in a long-term care environment.
Responsibilities
Assess, manage, and treat a wide range of wounds, including pressure injuries, surgical wounds, burns, ostomies, and traumatic injuries
Conduct routine skin assessments and maintain accurate documentation
Administer wound care treatments and educate residents and families on care plans
Monitor risk factors for pressure ulcers and secondary infections
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address pain management and optimize outcomes
Evaluate nutrition, caloric needs, and effectiveness of wound care products and devices
Qualifications
Degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, or graduate of an approved RN program
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
