Main Responsibilities
Source various categories within the Indirect Spend with a focus on Corporate and Shared Services and/or categories that are medium to high complexity and spend.
Utilize the standard sourcing processes adopted by the Strategic Sourcing Department.
Analyze data to develop clear, relevant solutions and recommendations.
Develop and deliver high-quality presentations.
Establish relationships and lead stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gain buy-in.
Lead price and terms-and-conditions negotiations with suppliers.
Lead sourcing events from project kick-off to contract execution.
Use and evaluate eSourcing tools and new technologies.
Participate in spend analytics and work planning efforts.
Become a category expert, develop category playbooks and roadmaps to enhance strategic negotiations.
Develop negotiation event timelines and manage execution.
Project manage sourcing-led events including vendor transitions.
Mitigate company financial liabilities through inventory management with suppliers.
Build and establish strategic vendor relationships for short- and long-term partnerships.
Lead cost mitigation negotiations with suppliers.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Logistics preferred.
Experience Level
5+ years of experience in negotiating contracts, managing strategic supplier alliances and buying/sourcing experience.
Skills And Experiences
Strong strategic mindset to offer solutions from a dynamic perspective.

Strong ability to negotiate internally and externally to achieve objectives and execute contracts.
Strong meeting management and facilitation skills.
General understanding of manufacturing, distribution and logistics.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and ability to work with multiple enterprise-wide systems.
Working knowledge of contract processes and risk mitigation.
Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills.
High energy, initiative, creative problem-solving ability and sense of urgency.
Excellent team interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple tasks while providing superior service.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Travel Requirements
Low travel requirements but must be willing to travel to supplier or site visits on occasion.
