Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Store Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the physical environment of our retail spaces, ensuring that each location is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the customer and associate experience through innovative design and strategic planning.
Job Responsibilities
Develop fixture plans and architectural drawings for new stores, relocations, expansions, and remodels at our client’s locations. Make design and layout decisions based on site-specific needs and budget, enhancing customer and associate experiences. Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure plans meet standards and timelines. Troubleshoot and resolve site-specific challenges during planning and construction phases. Ensure timely distribution and archiving of project drawings and data. Assist in training and guiding store planners and consultants on planning guidelines and prototype requirements.
Skills Required
Proficiency in REVIT and ACAD/AUTOCAD, with experience in retail store and fixture layout. Strong understanding of retail operations, building architecture, and construction codes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility. 8+ years of experience in retail design, store planning, interior design, or architecture.
Education
Associate’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering Technology, or Interior Design, or equivalent certification. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Law Degree is a plus.
