Work Schedule

Sunday – Thursday, 5:30 PM – 1:30 AM

Compensation

$70,000 – $75,000 (no CDL A, 2+ years driving, +10% bonus opportunity)

$75,000 – $85,000 (CDL A, 2+ years experience, available for delivery driver as needed)

Position Summary The Transportation Supervisor manages daily transportation operations, ensures timely delivery of goods, maintains compliance with DOT and OpCo regulations, and trains and supervises drivers. The role requires strong leadership, deep logistics knowledge, and a commitment to excellent service.

Position Responsibilities

Supervise staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.

Assist with day‑to‑day administration, driver payroll calculation, trip log review, expense report processing, and DOT compliance.

Monitor vehicle safety, safe ramp/handcart use, seat/weight belt use, and safe lifting and product handling practices; attend quarterly safety meetings as needed.

Track driver license status, traffic tickets, accidents, and other safety data.

Complete delivery and driver paperwork: invoices, cash receipts, collection register, trip reports, fuel tickets, deposit slips, DOT logs, DVIR, qualification files, and accident reporting.

Maintain trucks, tractors, and trailers through post‑trip inspections.

Collaborate with Transportation or Operations Manager to minimize operating expenses and ensure efficient routing.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, regulations, and best practices.

Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders.

Proficiency in transportation management software and route optimization tools.

Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements for transportation operations.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Valid driver’s license is required.

2–4 years transportation or related experience, including DOT and safety regulations knowledge and experience operating computerized fleet management systems.

1+ years of experience leading and supervising a team of 10–15 drivers.
