Card Product Architects

Kforce has a client that is seeking 6 Senior/VP Card Product Architects in Wilmington/Newark (DE), Plano (TX) and Jersey City (NJ). This is an opportunity for full-time employment with the client. The role supports the Credit Card product line where you will help define, design and drive market leading features and capabilities to support the largest US Credit Card issuer. Responsibilities Represents a product family of technical governance bodies Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices Provides architectural documentation for both application specific design as well as multiple application/multiple product space designs based on business and technology inputs, firm standards and risk management needs Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Requirements 5 years+ of Senior Enterprise Level Architectural Experience including exposure to conversion architecture, data mapping, and applied experience after formal training or certification on engineering and architecture concepts Advanced in one or more programming language(s) Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability along with prior programming experience - creating secure code, code reviews, debugging code written by others Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Familiar with PCI and industry standard security patterns, such as tokenization, encryption, etc. Experience in the Credit Card industry or Financial Services Architects are highly desirable Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
