The Role We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to join our central FP&A team. This individual will act as a key link between our Head of FP&A and our team of analysts, taking ownership of core financial planning processes and providing executive-ready insights for senior leadership. The FP&A Manager will lead our firm-wide consolidated forecasting, budgeting, and reporting efforts with a focus on continued process improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to summarize granular data into executive-level presentations. How You’ll Help Take Us There Own the company’s consolidated forecast, focusing on accuracy, variance analysis, timeliness, and executive communication Partner with business stakeholders and FP&A specialists to understand drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights Lead the company-wide annual budgeting process, coordinating inputs across all functions and owning the summary planning presentation Develop and maintain scalable process tracking and planning calendars to ensure deliverables align with company goals Consolidate financial performance results across business lines for the CFO, CEO, and management team Prepare executive-level reporting and materials to support quarterly earnings calls, board presentations, and investor communications Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and supporting strategic initiatives Lead and manage FP&A consolidations team What We’re Looking For 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience in a management capacity Advanced knowledge of financial systems, system integrations, and data control frameworks Experience creating automated, value-add reporting and presentation materials for senior-level executives Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills Proven experience managing or mentoring teams Ability to prioritize competing deliverables and adapt under tight deadlines Self-starter with strong communication skills Preferred system experience: Adaptive Planning (Workday), NetSuite, Domo What You Can Expect From Us Free Food: Free lunch when in the office; offices stocked with snacks Paid Time Off: Competitive PTO package including vacation, personal days, sick leave, and charity days Generous Parental Leave: Up to 20 weeks fully paid 401(k): Dollar-for-dollar employer match up to $17,500 Employee Stock Purchase Plan: Purchase MarketAxess stock at a discount Wellness Stipend: Up to $1K annually for gym memberships, home office equipment, and more Onsite Healthcare: Access to care through Mount Sinai at our Hudson Yards location Tuition Assistance and Professional Development: Live and on-demand learning, role-specific training, Lunch and Learns Core benefits: Medical, dental, and vision programs For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $135,000 USD to $180,000 USD. Actual salary may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
