Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Procurement provides strategic leadership and oversight of all procurement functions across the organization. This role is responsible for aligning procurement strategies with business objectives, driving cost savings, managing supplier performance, and mitigating supply chain risks. Essential Duties

Provide input during Executive S&OP meetings regarding supplier performance, risks, and mitigation strategies. Define and implement procurement policies and long-term sourcing strategies that align with company objectives and cost-saving initiatives. Lead supplier development, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts. Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting to evaluate procurement performance and ensure accountability across teams. Oversee purchasing and sourcing operations, ensuring purchase orders, supplier agreements, and sourcing practices comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Guide and support the Engineering Procurement team in aligning material sourcing with engineering projects, innovation initiatives, and prototype builds. Partner with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Production, Planning, Finance) to ensure materials and services are available to meet business needs. Negotiate and manage key supplier agreements, contracts, and performance improvement plans. Lead supplier relationship strategies to drive long-term partnerships, quality performance, and risk reduction. Ensure supplier compliance with ethical, regulatory, and sustainability standards. Identify opportunities for supplier diversification to reduce dependency and strengthen resilience. Provide direction and mentorship to Procurement leadership, including Purchasing Managers, Sourcing Supervisors, Engineering Procurement Managers, and Supplier Relations Managers. Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for each procurement function. Build a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development across the procurement organization. All other duties assigned. Qualifications

Education

4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or willing to start a bachelor's degree within 6 months of obtaining this position. Preferred: Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university. Experience

4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, or related field. Preferred: Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role driving results through people and processes. Expertise in supplier negotiation, strategic sourcing, cost reduction strategies, and procurement policy development to support long-term business objectives. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, ethical sourcing practices, sustainability standards, and supplier risk management frameworks. Ability to analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier landscapes to inform sourcing strategies and mitigate risks. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience influencing and collaborating across functions such as Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, procurement analytics tools, and reporting dashboards to track KPIs, supplier performance, and spend visibility. Skilled in contract development, administration, and compliance monitoring, ensuring supplier agreements align with company policies and regulatory standards. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands, maintaining focus on cost, quality, and delivery. Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities with a results-oriented mindset. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments while managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance procurement processes and drive efficiency. Must be able to fluently speak, write, and read in English.
