Job Overview The WTI Field Resource Foreman oversees safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our primary priority and is embedded in every aspect of the role. The Foreman leads the crew, manages safety, crew management, and project execution within their region, ensuring timely service and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily onsite safety briefs with the Sales Rep, customer, and crew. Inspect surroundings, equipment, and tools for safety concerns. Complete and submit the Daily Hazard Analysis form.
Ensure all project communication is completed before starting, including communication with Supervisor, Sales Reps, crew, and customers as needed.
Manage project logistics such as crew start/end times, productivity, tools, and materials to ensure safety and efficiency. Complete projects according to scope and supervisor’s instructions.
Perform end-of-day/project walk-through using reporting tools to ensure quality and address punch list items, including updates on work, materials, and supplies.
Maintain professional appearance and customer interaction standards for Field Reps.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and quarterly cycle counts.
Provide pricing for projects over $12,500 and submit proposals over $20,000 to Supervisor for review.
Monitor and manage Field Reps, resolve employee issues, and escalate to HR when necessary.
Coordinate project schedules with Supervisor.
Review and correct daily time reports with the admin team.
Attend meetings, trainings, and perform other duties as assigned.
Certificates & Licenses
30-hour OSHA certification
Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required
Skills & Abilities
Minimum five years roofing industry experience
Knowledge of various roofing systems and repair techniques
Ability to travel, including overnight stays
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed
Pass pre-employment drug test
Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
