Business Development Officer – UBS
Join UBS’ Global Wealth Management team as a Business Development Officer, driving sales growth and client engagement across our U.S. wealth client base.
Key Responsibilities
Increase top‑line revenue growth, raise awareness, and support trade and product ideas at the point‑of‑sale execution.
Develop and share daily and weekly sales ideas based on market trends, product strategies, and advisor/client resources.
Host daily Advisor meetings; provide tactical ideas, sales commentary, and highlight product offerings and pipelines to bolster client acquisition and retention.
Understand and distribute product‑specific expertise across Investment Management, Alternative Investments, Capital Markets (Equities, Fixed Income, Options, Structured Products), Insurance, and Annuities.
Prepare sales materials (presentations, campaign content, product updates) and coordinate Advisor/Field Leader meetings.
Handle profiling, lead identification, follow‑up activity, and maintain ongoing partnership with internal strategy and analytics teams to identify campaign/focus criteria.
Qualifications
Self‑motivated, passionate about client experience with solid presentation skills.
Proactive, critical thinker with a collaborative personality.
Strong planner focused on organization and details; able to deliver against tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of the wealth management business.
Series 7/66 or 7/63/65 required.
Ready for occasional travel to local branch offices.
Location & Compensation U.S. – Bethesda, Charlotte, Greenville, Raleigh, Norfolk, Wilmington NC, McLean, Richmond, and other U.S. locations.
Salary range: $120,000 – $160,000 (base) + discretionary incentive compensation. Benefits details available at ubs.com/usbenefits.
