The Manager, Facility Operations is responsible for the facility and managing day-to-day operations in accordance with local and state laws, regulations, and standards set by the Company. The Facility Operations Manager oversees People, Process, Product and Infrastructure, including compliance, P&L, budgets, cash flow, production targets, human resources, repairs and maintenance, health and safety, and security. This role leads cultivation and production teams, including scheduling, training, policy updates, industry news, and product information, as well as lead procurement, waste disposal and inventory management. The position maintains partnerships with corporate leaders of Infrastructure, Horticulture, and Compliance. Strong organization, prioritization, and delegation are required to ensure smooth operations in a busy Cultivation Facility. Responsibilities
Manage functional operating units such as Horticulture and Cultivation, Inventory Control and Production, and oversee all facility staff. Act as liaison between Cultivation and Dispensing Facilities and the local community, including law enforcement. Maintain a highly focused, lean operational culture aligned with established mission objectives. Ensure compliance with State and local laws, regulations governing the medical marijuana program, OSHA, HIPAA, NFPA, and other applicable rules. Oversee staff training to ensure SOPs, Health and Safety, and good agricultural practices are followed. Manage facility security in partnership with Security leadership; implement and maintain systems for tracking, record keeping, retention, surveillance, and inventory at all stages. Oversee general facility repairs, maintenance, and minor CapEx projects. Collaborate with Cultivation and Production to establish protocols for efficient production, throughput, yields, cost reduction, and quality within SOP guidelines. Establish and meet daily/weekly production requirements and KPIs. Maintain GMP audit-readiness with department leads/supervisors. Maintain Just-In-Time inventory management for finished goods, raw materials, and other inventory items as required. Maintain vendor relationships with Quality Management to support cultivation, manufacturing, and production needs. Assist state and local government officials and law enforcement with inventory, sales, and compliance audits. Track all inventory in seed-to-sale software and coordinate with accounting and staff to control inventory across plants, in-process products, and final products. Qualifications
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Facility Management, Engineering, Agriculture or Business Administration. Minimum 8 years’ facility management experience with progressively increasing responsibilities; preferably in commercial agriculture or GMP manufacturing facilities. Hands-on experience with human resources activities, operations staffing, and resource planning. Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen experience in managing a regulated, production-based facility is preferred. Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Excellent and confident communication skills. Ability to manage time efficiently; self-starter with a proactive attitude. Willingness to work hands-on and contribute in a growing company environment. Solid software skills – MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Inventory Tracking. Salary range:
