– Arclin USA is looking for a

Plant Manager II

for our Tacoma, WA site. Reporting into the Director of Manufacturing, this position is accountable for executing required Standard Operating Procedures at each plant site to ensure a safe operations environment while delivering the lowest manufacturing cost possible, meeting product specifications with lowest possible product variability, and producing orders on time and in full. This role includes establishing the budget and goals for the business and managing performance against the budget and goals. Responsibilities

Displays all the characteristics of Arclin’s Leadership Model and outwardly communicates and expects the same from all deputies, peers and employees. Ensures that operations and project work comply with all Arclin policies and procedures, including HSE and regulatory requirements. Meets all Federal, Provincial, State environmental requirements. Creates a team environment conducive to innovation and integrates input from direct reports and peers into decisions that benefit project outcomes while building team capabilities. Aches project or sub-set of departmental objectives within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters. Produces products at the lowest possible cost through continuous optimization of rate, waste and energy consumption, while minimizing labor density. Explains context and rationale for team goals and deliverables to direct reports to enable full engagement of talent and business acumen. Develops annual departmental plans and ensures expense and capital budgets are aligned with functional and business objectives. Communicates broader plans and objectives while cascading work assignments to team members. Provides full cycle performance management support for direct reports, including setting objectives, coaching, monitoring progress, guiding career development, providing formal feedback and recognition, and removing barriers to access resources and prioritizing work. Qualifications

Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or Science required 8+ years relevant manufacturing experience Proven leadership skills and experience managing a plant of 40+ employees Knowledge of resin manufacturing and/or paper treating Ability to address customer problems that have been elevated and proactively approach customers to anticipate and manage potentially contentious situations Demonstrated ability to read the pulse of the organization and maintain connections to proactively manage employee relations situations Knowledge of HSE regulations for jurisdiction Demonstrated project management and process improvement management Professional Engineer registration is a plus Ability to operate safely in a manufacturing environment, including potential lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, stooping, rotating, climbing stairs, or similar movements Note:
