This role presents a unique opportunity for Puerto Rican professionals in the U.S. offering a chance to bring their knowledge home and apply their expertise to projects that move the Island forward. We're seeking a business intelligence analyst with 5-10 years of experience who can turn complex datasets into strategic clarity. You'll be an integral part of our team, building forecasting tools, developing dashboards that inform real decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define where resources should be allocated next. Strategic Financial & Performance Analysis
- Develop and maintain economic, financial, and operational models that forecast outcomes and inform resource allocation decisions Conduct variance and trend analyses to identify performance drivers and opportunities for improvement Evaluate business cases, project ROI, and cost-benefit trade-offs across public and private sector initiatives Decoding Complexity Driving Decisions Data Infrastructure & Reporting Build and optimize data models and pipelines that support executive reporting and forecasting Design dashboards and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel) that make data accessible and actionable Partner with technical teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems Insight Generation & Decision Support Translate quantitative findings into strategic insights through reports, presentations, and executive briefings Collaborate with leadership to identify emerging trends, risks, and investment opportunities Apply critical thinking to synthesize complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations AI & Process Optimization Leverage AI and automation tools to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency Identify workflow bottlenecks and design scalable solutions to streamline analysis and decision-making Engage with clients ranging from federal, state, and municipal agencies to private corporations Tailor insights and recommendations to each context, ensuring clarity and measurable impact Qualifications & Skills
Required
Bachelors degree in mathematics, finance, economics, engineering, business analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field; masters preferred 4-6 years of experience in business intelligence, financial analysis, or strategic planning Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance management Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical, and abstract thinking skills with attention to detail High proficiency in Excel and SQL; demonstrated ability to structure and interpret large datasets Advanced experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) Experience with predictive modeling, AutoML, or AI-enhanced analytics workflows Professional fluency in English and Spanish, able to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Willingness to work primarily on-site in San Juan, with hybrid arrangements considered when approved by the executive team Experience with Python, R, or similar scripting for automation and data transformation Preferred
