ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our Midwest Facilities team in Kansas City, MO. In this role, you’ll oversee operations related to building enclosure, structural systems, due diligence, and/or building code compliance. If you have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the drive to grow a department, we want to hear from you. Develop, lead, and manage a team of engineers, architects, and project managers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence Oversee all operations related to Building Enclosure, Structural Systems, Due Diligence and/or Building & Code Compliance. Projects may involve:
Building enclosure testing, assessment and commissioning Structural forensic investigations and analysis Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) and Asset management consulting Third-party Code Compliance Inspections and Plan Review
Manage projects from inception to completion, including proposal preparation, technical report reviews, and departmental P&L performance Drive business development by building and maintaining strong client relationships and leading marketing initiatives in this market sector Partner with internal recruiting team to attract, hire, and retain top talent, ensuring the group remains staffed for success Qualifications
B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET-accredited college/university 8+ years of experience related to building enclosure consulting and/or structural engineering analysis Licensed or certified as at least one of the following:
Professional Engineer (P.E.), Structural Engineer (S.E.), Registered Architect (R.A.), International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) offered RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP, University of Wisconsin–Madison offered BECxP and CxA+BE
