An emerging player in robotics and AI-driven automation is rapidly expanding its technical hiring efforts. This is a fast-moving environment focused on solving complex industrial problems through advanced hardware and software integration. The organization is building high-impact teams and seeking an experienced Technical Sourcer to accelerate talent acquisition across multiple engineering verticals. Position Summary
This is a hands-on sourcing role requiring deep familiarity with technical recruiting in areas such as embedded systems, robotics, computer vision, and hardware/software integration. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of identifying and engaging passive candidates in highly specialized domains and is comfortable working in a startup or high-growth setting. Key Responsibilities
Source technical talent for niche roles in hardware, software, embedded systems, and robotics Run intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements and sourcing strategies Execute multi-channel sourcing campaigns, including outreach via LinkedIn, GitHub, technical forums, and events Conduct phone screens to assess technical competencies, motivations, and team fit Develop and maintain market intelligence reports, talent maps, and compensation benchmarks Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to maintain pipeline health and drive time-to-fill metrics Track outreach data and optimize based on response and conversion rates Qualifications
4+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally within robotics, embedded systems, perception, or autonomy Proficient in Boolean search, X-ray techniques, and multi-platform candidate discovery Strong understanding of technical signals such as C++/Python, ROS/ROS2, RTOS, PCB design, SLAM, and control systems Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume pipelines while maintaining a strong candidate experience Highly organized, metrics-oriented, and skilled in pipeline management tools and CRM/ATS platforms Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, startup-like environment Preferred Experience
Experience sourcing for field engineering, applications, or hardware manufacturing teams Familiarity with robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) or industrial automation standards Track record of implementing diversity sourcing strategies with measurable success Background in startup environments or teams scaling from early-stage to growth phase What To Expect
