Senior Veterinarian Technical Services, Central Midwest Territory This position is responsible for the technical support for our sales team in the central Midwest (KS, OK, NE, MN, greater Kansas City, MO area) sales regions. The key responsibilities include: Contribute to the success of Company Animal Health by leveraging scientific knowledge and creating collaborative relationships with our internal and external customers. Align with and execute Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development strategies for the companion animal business unit. Provide technical support to regional sales team through work-with interactions involving account visits, conducting seminars or leading group discussions and working at local, state and National meetings. Enhance Company Animal Health awareness at Veterinary Schools through presentations to students, managing Company Student Representative program, interaction with faculty, residents and interns and relationship building with key college administrators. Support pharmacovigilance of Company Animal Health Companion Animal products through timely response to inquiries with attention to supporting Veterinarian/Client/Patient relationships. Provide technical expertise to the Sales Department via development and delivery of training materials and support of Company Animal Health activities at Major Veterinary Conferences. Execute Marketing strategies by contributing to successful product launches and maintenance of core product support through assistance with development of marketing pieces and guidance and support of product strategies. Support Company portfolio and presence with specialists and referral centers through engagement and relationship building with key influencers in focus areas. Education - Experience Requirements: The position requires a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM or VMD) and a minimum of three years of clinical practice experience or its equivalent. The incumbent must have a sound understanding of and accomplished skill as a Companion Animal Veterinarian. Experience or acumen with business and financial aspects of veterinary practice is highly desirable. This position requires strong organizational skills as well as an engaging personality, self-motivation and superb communication skills.
