Responsibilities Building Bright Futures at Brightstar Global! Brightstar seeks a Lottery Field Services Technician in LaGrande, OR, and Ontario. The Lottery Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing Brightstar equipment at retailer (customer) locations and will be part of our award-winning lottery services organization. The Field Service Technician maintains service equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within a specified zone to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.

Transport, install (if applicable), and maintain Brightstar equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.

Attend driver training and follow Brightstar\'s vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of company vehicles.

Maintain equipment to promote the continuous operation of Brightstar equipment.

Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field, including swapping failed equipment, cleaning, and minor adjustments.

Communicate effectively with Dispatchers; accurately report activity, arrival/departure times, problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Dispatch.

Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts (e.g., paper, ribbons, bet slips) and track inventory.

Deliver basic training to new retailers or refresher training to retailers performing procedures incorrectly (e.g., changing paper and ribbon).

Complete primary forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, and recommendations for procedure improvements.

Qualifications

High school degree or GED required.

1–2 years of experience in a customer service-related position

1–2 years of experience in technical repairs

Valid driver\'s license, good driving record, and ability to correctly perceive colors

Physical requirements: ability to climb a ladder, lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, sit and drive for extended periods, use tools with dexterity, work with moving parts and electrical current, and work at heights or in close quarters as needed

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. The estimated starting compensation range is $31,096 - $67,496. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
