Project Coordinator

Overview The Project Coordinator reports to a National Practice Business Leader and partners with the Business Manager to support overall business and project performance, service delivery, profitability and risk.
Responsibilities
Monitor, collect, analyze data and implement solutions to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information to optimize business performance.
Engage and collaborate with Practice Leadership, Project Managers and teammates to understand business and organizational challenges.
Support one or more of the following areas: Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, and/or Project Management.
Lead Project Managers through QAQC of Deltek / Vantagepoint Project & Plan setup.
Provide Pipeline and Project Administration leadership to Project Managers.
Perform Deltek billing set-up, including contract review and alignment.
Analyze project performance and identify potential add-service opportunities.
Partner with Practice Finance Leader in reconciliation and follow-up of unbilled items.
Manage and solve complex billing challenges.
Enhance integrated Project Lifecycle and Playbook based on new industry trends.
Regularly communicate with Practice Business Leader, Practice Business Manager, Project Managers and Finance partners to ensure effective collaboration.
Review documentation and contracts to ensure compliance with NELSON standards; escale issues as needed.
Contribute professional opinion to National Practice Business Leader regarding current projects.
Qualifications
Knowledge and ability to use analytical and problem-solving techniques.
Excelled analysis and spreadsheet capabilities.
Ability to complete tasks and produce deliverables independently.
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, graphic).
Proficiency in Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint, NELSON Business Insights (Tableau), MS Office.
Good presentation and facilitation skills.
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in contract administration, services management & collections resolution.

Education & Experience Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Real Estate, Planning, Interior Design, Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, Project Management or Information Management from an accredited university.
5+ years relevant industry experience preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
