We are seeking a
Municipal Drinking Water Project Manager
to join our dynamic and diverse team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering innovative water solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Project Teams:
Guide multidisciplinary teams through complex projects with overlapping schedules and challenging requirements.
Mentor and Develop Talent:
Share your experience and technical expertise to coach and mentor junior engineers and staff.
Technical Leadership:
Apply both conventional and advanced water treatment technologies to address complex water quality challenges, particularly in Colorado and the western U.S.
Project Management:
Oversee all phases of engineering projects from concept to completion, including safety, quality, procurement, construction, permitting, and stakeholder engagement.
Client Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Oversight:
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery.
Team Coordination:
Communicate staffing needs and project updates to department leadership, and provide performance feedback to team members.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new project opportunities, lead proposal development, and expand client relationships.
Contract Management:
Oversee the negotiation and execution of contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
Industry Engagement:
Represent the company in professional organizations and contribute to thought leadership in the water and wastewater sector.
Strategic Input:
Provide insights and feedback to support leadership in shaping future initiatives and services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (required).
7+ years of relevant experience in design engineering; 10+ years preferred.
At least 3 years of experience managing engineering projects.
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
Prior consulting experience is a plus.
Proven success in project management and business development.
Experience in sectors such as water, wastewater, energy, infrastructure, or related industries is advantageous.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Compensation Salary Range:
$140,000 - $225,000 annually Includes base salary and eligibility for a discretionary year-end incentive bonus. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
