to manage accounts and drive results in the Southeast U.S. territory.
COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client manufactures and supplies components worldwide to construction, parts, service, and repair contractors.
POSITION SUMMARY Primary responsibility is to manage assigned region and accounts, secure key strategic accounts, and drive sales results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the Southeast U.S. region and assigned accounts.
Actively pursue and secure key and strategic accounts.
Build relationships to move vertically and horizontally within an account.
Develop capture plans for individual projects and understand customer needs, decision makers and buying process.
Work at the plant level with customer equipment owners and subject matter experts.
Perform inspections, write reports, and prepare proposals.
Conduct customer presentations and discuss existing projects.
Promote value propositions and close opportunities.
Communicate executive level information to customers.
Create competitive analyses and strategic positioning plans for each account.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams to maximize sales in the accounts.
Understand competitive intensity to enable success.
Serve as a product expert to solve routine product/systems issues.
Articulate account growth plans by product and meet margin goals.
Solicit and analyze customer feedback for product performance and value.
Provide expert product knowledge across all product lines.
Build cross‑functional relationships internally and externally to support accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
5–10 years of sales experience.
Knowledge of chemical/refining/industrial applications or cooling towers preferred.
Aftermarket or distributor sales (representative management) experience preferred.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
