$66,560.00/yr - $73,110.00/yr (based on skills and experience; talk to your recruiter for details) Role Overview
The Engineer Manager is responsible for ensuring proper operations, maintenance, service, and repair of all equipment. This includes supporting guest satisfaction, cost control, and profitability goals. The role involves overseeing and participating in the Preventative Maintenance program, ensuring all rooms and public spaces meet Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Management associates are expected to work as necessary to complete their responsibilities, including overtime for OEM associates. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 2-year college degree with 3+ years of experience; or a 4-year college degree with 2+ years of experience. Supervisory experience required. Current certifications as required by federal, state, or local authorities (e.g., HVAC, electrical, pool operation). Valid driver’s license for applicable state. Effective communication, problem-solving, stress management, and financial understanding skills. Responsibilities
Provide attentive, friendly, and courteous service to guests and employees. Maintain attendance, personal appearance, and grooming standards. Ensure safety standards and certifications are met. Train, supervise, and evaluate engineering staff. Manage departmental budgets, energy conservation, and safety inspections. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly. Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Maintain professional relationships and effective communication across departments. Benefits
