Overview
Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division. The technician performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites near Stockton, California. Responsibilities include operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants in accordance with established preventative and corrective maintenance standards while maintaining safety and professionalism. These are local sites; candidates should reside within 50 miles of Stockton, California. Core Responsibilities
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment. Document work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules. Provide working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment. Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment and ensure proper working order. Maintain a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). Able to work in both solo and group environments. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Core Experience
2+ years of experience in Commercial/Industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) on solar power plants is preferred. Preventative maintenance experience on Solar Utility equipment is preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation skills. Experience with solar equipment such as Inverters, Tracker Systems, or Sub-Stations Equipment (e.g., TMEIC, SMA, Sungrow, Nextracker, ATI) is preferred. Takes initiative to escalate issues at site. Ability to train, mentor, and develop laborers into Apprentices. High aptitude and a strong work ethic. Physical/Work Environment

Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). Employment may require working on weekends and holidays, including an "on call" service availability via telephone/text message. Travel requirements dependent on support of the company (up to 25% travel). Compensation and Benefits
Compensation:
$25.00-$42.00 hourly/DOE . Actual compensation influenced by skill set, experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, or other applicable compensation.
