Environmental Foreman

Job Summary The Foreman position is part of the Operations Management department, responsible for delivering MER’s four core service lines: Emergency Response, Industrial and Marine Services, Facility Decontamination, and Site Remediation. The role oversees safety, quality, and profitability of all activities on assigned jobs, managing one job per day. The Foreman must consistently demonstrate the Company Core Values of Integrity, Mutual Respect, Discipline, and Professionalism. Job Responsibilities Manage personnel and equipment on assigned jobs to meet quality, customer satisfaction, profitability, and growth objectives. Implement and oversee Health & Safety programs and site-specific plans. Review work orders and coordinate logistical decisions to exceed client expectations. Ensure all pre-project clearances and notifications are completed. Report project progress and maintain thorough documentation. Enforce company policies and provide feedback and mentorship to team members. Coordinate with supervisors and management for scheduling and resources. Participate in “On-Call” Emergency Response teams. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of field experience. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to read and implement work and safety plans. Knowledge of OSHA standards, DOT standards, and other regulations. Ability to operate or understand equipment requirements. Valid licenses and ability to meet driving requirements. Willingness to work in hazardous environments and travel as needed. Completion of relevant safety and environmental training courses.
