Structural Steel Painter/Loader Lead
Pay:
$30/hr. Shift: Mon-Fri (6am to 4:30pm) with optional Saturday OT Description: The Painter/Load is mainly responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in structural steel painting and/or loading 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred) Strong knowledge of AISC painting standards and QA/QC practices Familiarity with production software like EPMgo (preferred) Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills A safety-first mindset and a positive, team-focused attitude
Job Duties: Leading and training team members in the paint and loading departments Overseeing daily operations to meet project deadlines and quality standards Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and AISC specifications Performing QA/QC checks and maintaining accurate documentation Coordinating shipping and loading activities with internal teams Supporting corrective action and performance management processes Benefits: Health/dental/vision/disability insurance Paid time off Paid holidays 401k with employer match and 100% vesting from the beginning Paid weekly Company Paid Life Insurance Selected applicant will be subject to a pre-employment physical with drug/alcohol testing.
