Business Process Reengineer

We are seeking a Senior Business Process Reengineer to support the Consolidated Application within the NexSys platform. This role will serve as a strategic liaison between regional field services consultants and managers, internal cross-office teams, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with proven leadership experience in cross-functional environments.
Key Responsibilities
Review and document current grant-related business processes and workflows
Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend improvements
Analyze federal policy changes and advise OES on necessary application updates
Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants
Act as the primary point of contact for field consultants regarding application issues
Communicate issue status, resolutions, and updates to relevant stakeholders
Manage and prioritize operational support requests and enhancement tickets in Azure DevOps
Collaborate with OSET and vendor teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
Lead and mentor a team of business analysts
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure alignment with project goals
Facilitate and lead requirement-gathering sessions with both business and technical teams
Maintain comprehensive documentation on the project SharePoint site
Ensure all process changes and decisions are well-documented and accessible
Key Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Project Coordinator, supporting complex IT web applications, including gathering and documenting business feedback and incorporating changes into current processes
5+ years of experience working with multiple teams, both internal and external, to support a project, it’s business processes, and training needs
3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, including experience creating user stories and queries
A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to lead meetings, conduct training and information sessions, and communicate at a level appropriate to the audience, making oral and written reports and presentations
Experience working as a liaison between the development team and project manager or business client in a software development project, including demonstrated leadership capabilities in cross-functional environments
Self-starter, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Experience working with grant management systems or government-funded programs preferred
Experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma or comparable design software preferred
Project management skills and knowledge in project management and related methodologies preferred
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferred
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or other related field required
