Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal / Senior Principal Test Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do:

Responsible for designing, developing and implementing testing methods/equipment in support of test execution

Achieve the aforementioned by/with/through first-hand experience, leveraging SME experience and/or referencing NG PrOP

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

Sr. Principal Test Engineer position: 8 years of experience Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline; 6 years with Master's Degree; 4 years with PhD

Principal Test Engineer position: 5 years of experience Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline; 3 years with Master's Degree; 1 year with PhD

2 Years of Experience with test planning, test execution and test data management

2 Years Experience or knowledge of system integration and test principles dealing with requirements and test planning/procedures

U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) software (i.e. CAMEO, DOORS, etc.) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) Tools (i.e. NX, SolidWorks, etc.)

Experience working in an agile team

Test set calibration/validation and test script development experience

Demonstrated experience operating in a large integration and test environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Teamcenter

Previous MMIII experience

Experience with Engineering technical writing

Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, power, hand and measuring tools

Aerospace / ICBM maintenance experience

Knowledge in the mechanical and/or electrical development of support equipment design solutions

#Sentinelintandtest Primary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $107,800.00 - $161,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
