$246,400.00/yr - $369,600.00/yr Patreon is a media and community platform where creators offer fans exclusive work and experiences across memberships, chats, live video, and direct sales. Our goal is to fund the creative class and we are leading in this space with billions generated for creators and millions of paying members. We are continuing to invest in building the best creator platform and are looking for an Engineering Manager, Creation to support our mission. This role is based in New York or San Francisco and is open to those who can be in-office 2 days per week in a hybrid model. About the Team
The Media Creation team helps creators produce content that represents their brand and enables them to engage and grow their fanbase. We build key product surfaces like post creation, media upload and edit, content viewer, and sharing tools, spanning mobile, web, and backend engineering and collaborating with design, product management, and GTM partners. About the Role
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Media Creation engineering team. You’ll manage engineers across iOS, Android, web, and backend, delivering tools that enhance the creative process and help creators engage fans. You’ll partner with cross-functional leaders to ship UX improvements and surfaces such as Post Editor, Media Uploader, Content Viewer, and Sharing, shaping how creators interact with their fans on Patreon. About You
3-5 years of engineering management in a cross-platform team (mobile, web, backend) You’ve led the development of consumer-facing product features You’re comfortable with fast-paced iteration, design reviews, and UX research You know how to build a healthy, high-trust engineering culture You’re excited about enabling creators to engage more fans You’re aligned with Patreon’s mission to fund the creative class Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent About Patreon
