Job Title: Senior CFD Engineer at Quest Defense
Quest Defense is seeking a CFD Engineer with expertise in GRIDPRO to perform CFD analysis for gas turbine components for an OEM customer. Responsibilities:
Perform CFD analysis using computational tools for gas turbine components and turbomachinery. Prepare geometry (NX/Unigraphics) and mesh (Gridpro). Set up models and conduct analyses. Post-process data and prepare presentations of results. Document work according to customer requirements. Prepare and present reports during technical reviews. Required Skills:
Expertise in GRIDPRO for CFD analysis of gas turbine components. 1-5 years of engineering analysis experience; aero-thermal experience is a plus. Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks. Proficiency with ANSYS CFX, NX/Unigraphics, and Gridpro. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation. Preferred Skills:
Exposure to aero engines. Ability to obtain a secret clearance. Additional Details:
