Processing Supervisor - 2nd Shift
to join our team in Frankfort, KY. This role offers the opportunity to work for a great company with the chance to advance your career and be part of a transformation of the bourbon industry into an efficient and effective operation. Role Responsibilities: Serve as an area lead within the Frankfort Processing department on 2nd Shift. Provide leadership, coaching, training, and coordination of duties within an area of the processing department. Promote safety, cost-saving productivity, and quality initiatives. Manage a functional area within the Frankfort Processing department. Develop and implement cost-saving and quality initiatives. Assure compliance with OSHA, TTB, Collective Bargaining agreements, and plant rules. Assist with capital projects within the area of operation. Coordinate operations with other areas within the facility. Root Cause problem-solving. Provide support on the floor for team members. Promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assure departmental goals are met. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5 years of manufacturing experience (liquid filling experience preferred). 3-5 years of experience as a people leader with coaching and mentoring experience. Strong computer (Microsoft) comfortability and SAP knowledge preferred. Proven Root Cause Problem Solving skills using 5 Why, DMAIC, Fishbone, 5S, Collecting & Analyzing data is preferred. Excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal management skills. Mechanical aptitude (ability to troubleshoot and work with our engineering group on projects/problem-solving). Must be willing to work off-shifts and provide weekend coverage as necessary. Education: Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering, Business, Science, or related experience within a liquid filling industry. Physical Requirements: Constantly walking, standing, and sitting. Occasionally work at heights. Must be able to climb a minimum of three (3) flights of stairs in succession. Must be able to work in hot or cold conditions. Have acceptable (or corrected) visual acuity and depth perception. Have acceptable (or corrected) hearing. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English with understanding as it relates to job tasks.
