About the Opportunity:

A well-established growing CNC precision manufacturing company in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced

Operations & Facilities Manager

to oversee a hybrid leadership role that blends shop‑floor coordination with office administration. This is a critical position that directly supports both daily workflows and long‑term strategy in a dynamic, fast‑paced production environment. This is a salary role with profit‑sharing opportunity on gross margin. Role Overview

This leadership role includes oversight of manufacturing, quality control, workflow improvement, procurement, and facilities maintenance. The right candidate will drive operational efficiency, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure that both production and administrative goals are met consistently and cost‑effectively. What You’ll Do

Operations & Production Oversight

Oversee daily machining and production activities, from material staging to final inspection. Work with QA and inspection teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and tight tolerance standards. Help scale up production while maintaining lean operations and tight budget control. Track and optimize the use of shop‑floor equipment and tooling for current and upcoming jobs. Monitor process flow for bottlenecks and drive improvements in efficiency and output. Collaborate with engineering and sales to align quoting and job execution. Administrative & Team Leadership

Handle internal communications, team scheduling, and inventory procurement. Lead onboarding, labor compliance, and performance reviews. Conduct daily operational updates with company ownership. Guide staff through both production and administrative changes with clarity and accountability. Continuous Improvement & Reporting

Analyze cost, timeline, and quality metrics to inform operational decisions. Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions in tooling, processes, and project flow. Create monthly reports and dashboards to keep stakeholders aligned on key performance indicators. Qualifications

Required CNC Machining experience (prefer aerospace, defense or medical) 3+ years in operations, project management, or leadership in a manufacturing setting Ability to manage both production workflow and administrative processes Experience with QA, inspection, or precision measurement protocols Strong multitasking, communication, and leadership abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning job‑tracking software Preferred Exposure to AS9100 or similar quality standards Background in procurement or vendor management Why Join Us?
