Business Unit BAMG - Aiken ORR Management Level Individual Contributor Job Category Engineering & Science Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Aiken ORR plant. You will research, develop, design, test, and implement electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. As a senior professional, you will apply advanced knowledge typically gained through education and experience. You will face complex problems requiring innovative solutions. Responsibilities Modify existing equipment for continuous improvement and automation activities. Support relationships through effective communication and negotiation with stakeholders. Manage contractors and maintenance technicians for project support. Design, develop, and oversee electrical control systems. Coordinate with equipment designers and vendors with clear technical specifications. Manage budgets to meet plant objectives. Troubleshoot and program PLCs. Skills Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and Rockwell software. Support production and maintenance through modifications and troubleshooting of PLCs. Experience with Allen Bradley drives and troubleshooting. Knowledge of industrial Ethernet communication and network layout. Understanding of equipment safety standards, hardware design, and NFPA 70E arc flash requirements. Minimum Qualifications Typically requires at least 3 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
