Overview

Senior Electrical Production Support Engineer – Raytheon. Onsite role in Tucson, AZ. Active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility. Raytheon’s Airborne Effector Production (AEP) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle, providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of airborne electrical products. What You Will Do

Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. Travel less than 10% annually. Shift: 1st shift. What You Will Learn

Knowledge of various electrical components, circuit card assemblies, RF, analog, digital and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis. RTX Core Certification and Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) Certification. Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior Engineering experience. Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience in RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing. Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigation. Security Clearance: DoD Secret; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility. Qualifications We Prefer

Experience designing electrical systems for CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystems; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical testing and production/supplier/sub-tier supplier support of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, PCB fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications. Experience with tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, HFSS, ADS; plus Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer. Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links, inertial measurement units (IMU) and GPS receiver subsystems. Experience with subsystem integration and test, post-flight analysis, problem investigation, SPC methods to improve production yield, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change Notices. Leadership of small technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking and reporting, coordination, preparation of technical reports, and proposal support.
