Coordinate and observe construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Document all on-site observations of construction progress, including equipment, manpower, and materials, on a Daily Inspection Report and other required reports. Proactively communicate with the contractor and the client to progress the project in a timely manner to meet project goals. Job Requirements
NICET III-IV Certification or valid Professional Engineer license in the State of New Jersey is required. 7+ years of experience in construction inspection. EIT or B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus. ACI, NJSAT, TCC, CCTC, and/or OSHA 10 preferred. Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications; familiarity with inspection tools and software. Experience with inspection of Federal-aid projects and relevant certifications is not required but is a plus. Experience with bridge construction is a plus. Experience with NJTA Capex or NJDOT Site Manager is not required but is a plus. Able to work overtime, some nights, or weekends as needed. Ability to drive to and from project sites at various times of the day. Strong organization and communication skills. Valid Driver's License. Pay Range
$35/hour to $70/hour About applying
