Overview
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates with experience operating LC-MS/MS for an environmental lab in the SW Houston area. Candidates with experience analyzing environmental samples for PFAS will be given high priority. Responsibilities
Prepare analytical standards, reagents, and solutions Analysis of environmental samples for PFAS utilizing LC-MS/MS Process and interpret complex chromatography and spectra Maintain documentation of procedures according to established requirements Perform all work within QC parameters and within specified turnaround times Follow SOPs and methodologies without deviation Perform LC-MS/MS troubleshooting and maintenance Maintain safe working conditions and a clean, orderly work area Qualifications
BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline 5 years of analytical laboratory experience Experience with LC-MS/MS instrumentation and analytical methods Experience analyzing samples for PFAS is highly desirable Ability to monitor and prioritize daily work assignments Must be able to effectively perform duties under pressures arising from large sample volumes and short turn-around times Must be able to recognize unsatisfactory analytical performance and suggest appropriate corrective actions Strong organizational skills and attention to details Good verbal and written communication skills Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Benefits
This is a Direct Hire position with a day shift work schedule and a pay rate commensurate upon level of education and experience.
