As a
Field Installation Technician , you will be the on-site expert installing, configuring, and troubleshooting technology solutions across industries. This role offers hands-on experience with advanced POS systems, network hardware, and enterprise-level installations—while traveling to exciting locations around the U.S. Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems, network equipment (routers, switches, wireless access points), PCs, and other hardware. Perform low-voltage cabling installations, including pulling, routing, and terminating Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables per industry standards. Conduct pre-installation site surveys to plan equipment placement and anticipate challenges. Collaborate with project managers, customers, and fellow technicians to ensure seamless project execution. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies on-site. Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence. Complete accurate, detailed installation reports and documentation. Maintain company tools and equipment responsibly. What You Bring
Proven experience as an Installation Technician or similar role, with a strong focus on POS systems, networking, and PC hardware. Expertise in low-voltage wiring and terminations, including familiarity with connectors and testing equipment. Experience pulling and managing cables in commercial or industrial settings. Skilled in using powered hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting skills and independence in resolving technical issues. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, BICSI, or manufacturer-specific credentials. Experience with large-scale installations in retail, restaurant, or distribution center environments. Knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols. Why Join Us?
