Job Description We are recruiting a Product Development Engineer to design and support product concepts for multiple finished product formulations for global customers. The engineer will translate functional requirements into detailed specifications, develop performance tests, and manage suppliers for outsourced components. The role spans from product design to manufacturing, supporting equipment specifications and leading new product launches, including supplier qualification and production trials. This is a unique opportunity to take a product from concept to high-volume sale across multiple markets. The engineer will collaborate with customer-facing teams and internal departments such as Sales, Field Service, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Manufacturing. Responsibilities Include: Product Design: Partner with marketing early to identify innovative or challenging design elements and facilitate their realization through engineering verification and validation. Understand and develop quantified functional specifications to evaluate designs. Translate specifications into detailed component and material requirements. Develop quality evaluation test criteria for manufacturing processes. Drive Design for Excellence (DfX) activities to meet or exceed product targets (manufacturability, scale, quality, reliability, safety, cost). Communicate complex technical challenges clearly to peers and management, outlining options supported by data. Perform technical analyses, design experiments, and characterize process and design interactions. Supplier Evaluation & Qualification: Identify and assess potential suppliers for materials and components. Support supplier qualification through on-site visits and quality assessments. New Product Launch: Design trials to demonstrate production process capability for new products. Analyze trial data to identify issues and suggest improvements. Define material specifications, SOPs, and process parameters aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to develop manufacturing processes for emerging technologies and new product categories. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. 3-5 years of experience in product development or manufacturing engineering roles. Proven problem-solving skills with resource and deadline management. Experience with concurrent engineering and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in CAD/CAM; SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360 preferred. Experience with analytical tools like Finite Element Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and Design of Experiments (JMP, Minitab). Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Additional Information
