Salary Range $32-$35

Under the direction of our Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for electrical installation, troubleshooting and maintenance within Industrial and Facility settings. Perform higher level troubleshooting of electronic, electrical-mechanical and fluid power systems. In addition to electrical knowledge, mechanical technician type duties will be required. Provides training to craft and operations personnel.

Responsibilities

Installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC); NFPA 70E.

Performs installation according to planned layout of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes

Support maintenance staff in the upgrade and assessment of automated systems and technologies.

Interpret blueprints and specifications for installation , operation and repair of automated manufacturing equipment

Detect errors in automated equipment based on mechanical , electrical and fluid power systems of the equipment

Installs conduit systems, various lighting systems, basic control systems, motor feeders and makes standard motor connections

Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeter to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

Works as a member of a cohesive team, helps coach and mentor less experience staff

Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and equipment.

Performs scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

Performs scheduled Preventative and Predictive maintenance as required.

Consistently follows workplace safety procedures and participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions

Immediately identifies, corrects, and/or reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner

Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Availability

Although the schedule is primarily days, must have the flexibility to cover off shifts for business needs and customer demand. May include overtime, early starts, nights, weekends and holidays.
