We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and administration for a wide range of systems and technologies, ensuring smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires hands‑on experience with various Microsoft and Dell technologies, as well as security clearance (active or inactive Secret clearance). Responsibilities
365 Administration: Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, including user account management, licensing, and troubleshooting issues related to Office applications. Exchange Administration: Administer Microsoft Exchange Server, including email account setup, mailbox management, and resolving email delivery issues. Teams Administration: Configure and maintain Microsoft Teams, including channel setup, user permissions, and troubleshooting collaboration issues. Active Directory: Manage user accounts, group policies, and permissions in Active Directory to ensure secure and efficient access to network resources. Microsoft Windows Server: Administer Windows Server environments, including patch management, system monitoring, and troubleshooting server‑related issues. Desktop Support: Provide technical support for end‑user devices running Microsoft Windows 11, including software installation, hardware troubleshooting, and system updates. Dell Hardware: Troubleshoot and maintain Dell hardware, including desktops, laptops, and servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. VOIP Phone Systems: Support and maintain VOIP phone systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and user support for call‑related issues. Conferencing Systems: Manage and support audio/video conferencing systems, ensuring seamless operation for meetings and presentations. SharePoint Administration: Administer SharePoint environments, including site creation, permissions management, and troubleshooting user access issues. Spam Filtering: Monitor and manage spam filtering solutions to protect email systems from phishing, malware, and other threats. Autodesk Products: Provide support for Autodesk software, including installation, licensing, and troubleshooting for end‑users. Firewalls (FortiGate Preferred): Assist in managing and configuring FortiGate firewalls, including monitoring network traffic and implementing security policies. Qualifications
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, including hands‑on experience with the technologies listed above. Security Clearance: Active or inactive Secret clearance required. Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills; excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
