Overview
The Engineering Manager oversees and optimizes the operations of a manufacturing facility. They serve as leaders in ensuring that the machinery, equipment, processes, and systems within the manufacturing facility operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. Responsibilities
Ensure the machinery, equipment, and systems within the manufacturing facility are well-maintained and operate efficiently. This includes conducting routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Collaborate with Process Engineers and production teams to identify areas for process optimization, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction. Implement improvements. Diagnose and resolve equipment and operational issues to minimize downtime and disruptions to the production process, often with the assistance of Process Engineers. Ensure all operations and equipment adhere to safety regulations and standards. Implement safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace hazards and ensure team compliance. Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects related to the manufacturing facility\'s operations, including the installation of new equipment or process modifications. Coordinate with Process Engineers in project execution. Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to maintain and enhance product quality. Identify defects and implement corrective actions in collaboration with Process Engineers. Manage the plant\'s budget and control expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and capital projects, in consultation with Process Engineers. Ensure the manufacturing facility complies with environmental regulations and promotes sustainable and eco-friendly practices, with input and support from Process Engineers. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, equipment specifications, and other relevant data. Ensure that Process Engineers also maintain records pertinent to their responsibilities. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing settings. Management experience Track record of successfully overseeing complex engineering projects. Process Engineering experience is also valuable. Functional Success Drivers:

The annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 - $125,000 + 10% Bonus Target and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate\'s experience, qualifications, and/or skillset. Additional Information
