Seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager/Estimator to support preconstruction efforts across multiple commercial market sectors, with a focus on senior living and hospitality projects. This role includes work on various delivery methods such as design-build, CM, GMP, and lump sum. Key Responsibilities
Review plans, specs, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and design partners throughout preconstruction phases. Build and maintain strong subcontractor and supplier relationships. Solicit, evaluate, and scope subcontractor and vendor proposals. Prepare detailed estimates with supporting documentation and takeoffs. Occasionally travel for meetings, design reviews, or site visits. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience. 5–10+ years of commercial estimating experience preferred. Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods. Proficiency in Excel and estimating software. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
