WSP is initiating a search for an

Early Career Civil Roadway Engineer

for our

Atlanta, GA

office. Be involved in projects with our

Civil Roadway Team

and contribute to a growing organization that meets client objectives and solves challenges. Your Impact

Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills. Learn basic and advanced principles of Roadway Engineering, including roadway design programs, construction plan production, and 3-D modeling and design. Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis. Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates. Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation. Complete training on assigned tasks. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Who You Are

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related degree. 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience. Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills. Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products. The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately. Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. Preferred Qualifications

Recent graduate or May 2025 Graduate in an accredited Roadway Engineering, or related, Undergraduate or Graduate program. The successful candidate will have 0-3 years of internship experience in Roadway Engineering. Experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads software. Additional Notes

If the employee will be driving the WSP company vehicle, they must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening. If the employee conducts work on specific projects, the role may be subject to a client-mandated drug/alcohol testing policy. The employee may be subject to random drug/alcohol tests. A copy of this policy will be provided during onboarding and is available upon request. Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
